Semper Surface Solutions was founded by Samuel Riddle, a current member of the United States Marine Corps Reserve from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school, he completed recruit and artillery training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and was selected as an Artillery Section Chief while deployed overseas with Battalion Landing Team 1/7 — leading Marines in high-pressure environments where precision and accountability were critical. He founded Semper Surface Solutions while continuing to serve in the Marine Corps Reserve, translating that same discipline, leadership, and uncompromising standards into the flooring industry. What began as a one-man operation has grown into a trusted name across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware.
We built this company on a simple premise: the flooring industry was missing something. Too many contractors treated floors as a commodity — rushed, cut corners, and moved on. We saw an opportunity to bring military-grade precision, accountability, and craftsmanship to an industry that desperately needed it.
